NH Man Gave Minor Alcohol to Drink and Encouraged Drug Use, Police Say
HAMPTON — Police arrested a man for endangering the welfare of a minor.
On Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. police stopped a vehicle on Landing Road
In the vehicle was Michael Brady, 38, of Hampton. Brady had warrants from an ongoing investigation on two charges of endangering the welfare of a child.
Brady allegedly knowingly endangered the welfare of a minor twice by purposely violating the responsibility of care and protection of the child by persuading the child to use alcohol and drugs, police said.
Police also said that Brady allegedly provided the alcohol for the child to consume.
These allegations resulted in the arrest of Brady on two charges of endangering the welfare of a child. It's unclear whether the charges involve the same child and what Brady's relationship is to the minor or minors. Police did not immediatly return a message left on Wednesday.
Brady has been released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled for arraignment Feb. 20 in Seabrook district court.
