MANCHESTER — A 2-year-old boy died from injuries to his stomach, the New Hampshire Attorney General's office said.
The state's Medical Examiner's office performed an autopsy Tuesday on Jacob Pelletier and determined that his death came from blunt force trauma to his abdomen and that his manner of death is homicide.
On Monday, Manchester police officers responded to 551 Howe St. at 11:30 a.m. after Jacob was found unconcious. Jacob was taken to the Elliot Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The AG's office is investigating his death. They have not yet said if a suspect has been identified or if an arrest has been made.
