Mother and Son Found Dead of Suspected Overdoses in Dover, Police Say
DOVER — A mother and son were found unresponsive in their residence Sunday morning.
Dover police are investigating the deaths of Lisa Laurie, 55, and Jonathan Brooks, 34, who were found unresponsive at Glenwood Avenue.
Police said their deaths appear to be drug-related.
Their autopsies were conducted on Monday and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will release the cause of their deaths when results are final.
Police said if the deaths are drug-related, it will be the second and third overdose in Dover in 2018.
