A Man Arrested Again at the DMV for Using a Fake Name to Get License
CONCORD - Thursday morning staff at the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles notified state police after recognizing a man who had previously used fake documents in 2015 to try and get a drivers license.
When police arrived they discovered the man had previously been arrested in Salem, NH in 2015 for attempting to do the same thing. The man said his name was Javier Guzman and attempted to renew his license using fake documents, but officials said he was actually Jairo Nunez, 29, of Lawrence, Massachusetts. He was charged with falsification and tampering with public records.
On Thursday the same man once again was trying to re-instate a suspended license under the name Javier Guzman. The man was arrested and charged with falsification and tampering with public records.
He was transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections after refusing bail. He was arraigned Thursday.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement helped with the investigation and arrest.
