Convicted sex offender charged after police seize weapons in his NH home
DUNBARTON — A convicted sex offender was charged after police seized two rifles and a shotgun from his home.
Police say Raymond Fields, 45, was charged with three felony counts of being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon after they received a tip he had access to the guns.
Fields is prohibited from possessing or having control of firearms due to a 2008 conviction of unlawful sexual contact in Maine.
A search warrant was executed and police seized the guns. Fields turned himself in to Dunbarton police on May 17 after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Fields was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Merrimack County Superior Court on Thursday on June 1.
