Beware: Better Business Bureau lists top 10 scams of last year
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has released a list of the top ten scams of 2014.
Topping that list is the "Arrest Scam." The BBB says in this scam, the victim receives a call saying they owe money to the IRS for overdue taxes or skipping jury duty. The imposter says you can avoid jail time by wiring money.
The BBB says victims pay out out of fear, losing hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars.
