Armed NH man arrested on third stalking charge
HOOKSETT- A Newmarket man is scheduled to be arraigned today on his third stalking charge after police found him armed and in a location deemed off-limits to him through a restraining order.
Police saw a man, later identified as Kori Schlieder, 41, of Newmarket, wearing dark clothing in the parking lot near Carrington Farms off of Mammoth Road about 2:00 a.m. Monday. Police say he began walking quickly from officers, who were subsequently informed that Schlieder had a restraining order against him preventing him from being 300 feet within the area of where he was found.
Police took Schlieder into custody for violating the order. They also charged him with being a felon in possession of a deadly weapon after they found him carrying a large knife.
Unable to post his $7,000 bail, Schlieder was transported to Merrimack County Jail. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Merrimack Superior Court for his charges.
