Will You Be George's New Human Friend?
It's adopt a cat month, which is why 14-year-old George is a great pick for your home.
Don't let George's old age fool you. According to the staff at the Upper Valley Humane Society, he likes to play with his mouse toys in between cuddles.
George has been blind most of his life but he's "adjusted very well to it."
When he's not playing with his toys, he likes to relax and hang around his human friends.
George has lived with other cats before but can be picky (what cat isn't?) so he might be better off as the only cat in his new home.
He does enjoy the comfort of a stuffed animal but dogs can overwhelm him, so a home without canines would be best.
"If you think you'd like a sweet senior to complete your family, then come meet me today!"
During adopt a cat month, the Upper Valley Humane Society is charging half the adoption fee for cats 1 year and older.
