'Sick and Tired of Being Let Down,' Kaine Is Looking for a Family to Love
Despite a social media campaign and lots of hard work with a trainer, Kaine is still waiting for a permanent home.
He's been at Cocheco Valley Humane Society for more than 250 days. That means living at the shelter with no forever family, without a bed of his own and lacking stability and "consistent love."
Kaine had to brought to the shelter last July because his original owner couldn't afford to take care of him and his skin allergy.
"When he was surrendered, he was almost completely bald because he was not being maintained on a hypoallergenic diet," the shelter wrote on it's Facebook page.
He thought he had found another home, but that home wasn't right either.
"I am sick and tired of being let down by humans and I desperately want to find my forever home. I am trying to remain positive, as I KNOW the right fit has to be out there for me somewhere," the shelter wrote on his adoption bio page.
Kaine works hard to be a good boy.

Cocheco Valley says Kaine loves car rides, going for walks, playing, kissing faces, and toys. He should be in a home that does not have cats. He also only should be with children 16 and older but could probably handle living with another dog.
He is a 5 year old terrier mix and weighs 49 pounds.
