AMR of Nashua teaching CPR classes for free
It is national EMS week but here in New Hampshire, AMR of Nashua has decided to celebrate with free educational courses.
Free classes were given on how to train and properly administer CPR on Wednesday at the Nashua Senior Center. The instructors gave a step-by-step presentation and had participants practice on mannequins. Participants told NH1 News the course was helpful and informative.
“I watch my grandkids ages 1, 3, and 4 and I definitely want to be able to help if something happens to them,” said Pat Paxtion of Amherst after completing the course. “With the opioid crisis, it was good to know that you can do this with an opioid person as well if they’ve stopped breathing."
