20 arrests already made at Hooksett's Firebird Motel in 2016 after stepped-up patrols
HOOKSETT — The Firebird Motel is still creating problems in town.
"I can confirm they are renting by the hour," Hooksett Police Captain John Daigle said, speaking to the town council.
Neighbors are coming together asking the town to do something about the rundown motel that seems to be the center of trouble.
Police said they have stepped up patrols and arrests.
In fact, so far this year, there have been at least 20 arrests at the Firebird, which is more than all of last year.
The town council said they will work with the planning board to see if they can come up with a solution.
The Firebird Motel is owned by Bipin Patel, according to town records.
