2 incidents reported at the same time on Mt. Monadnock kept NH fish and game crews busy
JAFFERY — A woman descending down Mt. Monadnock on Saturday required New Hampshire Fish and Game crews to carry her off the trail.
According to NH Fish and Game officials, Terri Lynn Waters, 58 of Douglas, Mass. was hiking down a steep section of the White Arrow Trail when she lost her footing.
Waters was reported to have suffered a lower leg injury requiring officers and volunteers to assist her the rest of the way down.
NH Fish and Game crews said they reached park headquarters around 7:30 p.m. where Waters was transported to Monadnock Community Hospital.
The MA resident was treated for minor non-life-threatening injuries, said NH Fish and Game officials.
