2 fugitives found in Dover apartment, 1 hiding in the closet
DOVER – Two fugitives were found in an Dover apartment this morning, one hiding in a closet.
The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force found Stafford County fugitives Kristen Gates, 27, and Branden P. Rabideau, 28, in an apartment on Abbey Lane. Gates was found in a closet.
Gates was arrested for a violation of bail, stemming from a March arrest in which was charged with possession of controlled drugs, including methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine. At the time, she was also charged with disobeying an officer, operating after suspension, and driving without giving proof.
Rabideau was arrested on a warrant for a violation of probation stemming from his October 2014 arrest and subsequent conviction for being in possession of a controlled drug.
Both Gates and Rabideau were transported to the Strafford County Jail where they will be held without bail, pending a hearing in Strafford County Superior Court.
Members of the Marshals Fugitive Task Force included deputy sheriffs from Strafford, Rockingham, Belknap and Hillsborough Counties, NH Department of Corrections – Probation and Parole, as well as deputy United States Marshals.
