Cooler Temperatures Ahead!
Low level marine stratus clouds and fog start the day. Skies will be increasing with sun during the late morning through the midday. Partly sunny skies this afternoon with another mild day to enjoy with highs near 70-75 degrees inland. Onshore winds will keep it considerably cooler at the beaches only in the 50's. The struggle to warm up at the coast this time of year is real! A cold front approaches from the west for the evening. This could trigger a late day shower into the evening hours as it moves through. The front will be off the coast Friday with a wind shift to the NW. This will bring in cooler drier air with highs in the Lwr-mid 60's with partly to mostly sunny skies Friday. A warm front will approach New England Saturday bringing in clouds along with the risk of showers. We will be on the cooler side of the front. Highs will only be in the 50's Saturday with the cloudy cool damp conditions. Mother's day will likely start off with some morning clouds with this front stalled off the south coast. Skies will break for some partial sunshine with a milder feel with temps back into the 60's. Temperatures will be warming into the 70's for the start of next week!
