About me

Keith Murray is a sports NUT! Plain and simple if it’s a competition he’s in! Keith grew up in Laconia and played sports throughout his youth. Following in the footsteps of his family he was a devout Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots and Celtics Fan. Keith was also a huge fan of WEMJ’s Lakes Region Voice of Sports and Lee Nolin! At a young age he fell in love with statistics which helped him through many of his math classes at Holy Trinity and LHS!

He began his sports broadcast career in 1985 calling Sachems football and basketball games with Eddie Baker at age 19. He continued that into the late 80’s and even called a couple of Soccer Playoff games on WEMJ!

Keith entered the Army from 1988-1991 where he deployed to New Jersey, Texas, Hawaii, Korea and some other fascinating locations. Upon returning he got back into broadcasting but found that the interest in local sports coverage was not there. Over the past 25 years Keith has programmed and worked at many stations throughout NH and Boston including WZID and WOXF (Now The Mill), WNNH Oldies 99, WLNH, WLKZ, Sunny 101.5FM, WSRS in Worcester and WBOS in Boston. Keith also owns a Marketing and Broadcast production company Called MR Strategic Alliance (The production company for Lakes Region Voice of Sports and Live games), an IT Services Company called The TAMTECK group and he is a full time Sr. Mortgage Loan Officer for Primary Residential Mortgage.

Sporadically in the 90’s and early 2000’s Keith covered a few sporting events but not until reviving Lakes Region Voice of Sports in 2013 did it come back full force! With a dedication to Local Youth and High School Sports Keith brought back LRVOS as well as Live Sports coverage for Football, Basketball, Lacrosse, Hockey, Ice Fishing and Much More! Lakes Region Voice of Sports currently airs on WEMJ every Saturday and Sunday Morning at 9am.
