Reynolds Wrap Wants to Pay You to Eat Barbecue

If you could have a dream job, what would it be?

Race car driver? Actor? Maybe the captain of a ship? Would it involve anything food related?

What if you could get paid to travel and your job would involve eating delicious food? Sound too good to be true? Well it's not!

On July 31, Reynolds Wrap (the makers of that silver metallic stuff you wrap your food in) said it is looking to hire a chief grilling officer.

What will they be doing? The GCO will travel across the U.S. and share the best barbecue grilling techniques and tips and write a blog on the Reynolds Wrap Kitchen website and other social media sites.

First off, this job isn't going to be a career position with benefits and a pension. This is a two-week gig. You'll get a $10,000 stipend AND you can bring someone with you!

Reynolds doesn't specify where you will be traveling, but you will be spending a lot of time at meat swaps. (My guess is a lot of time in the south.) All your lodging will be covered for the entire two weeks you are traveling.Does this sound like something you'd LOVE to do? If so, act quickly.

The cutoff date for submissions is Aug. 13. Go to This email address is being protected from spambots. The exposure could lead to bigger things. Good luck.
