His job generally involves travelling to exotic locations to photograph beautiful women but, he put his camera down to step up and help save the life of a very young little lady.
Hampton’s Eric Snyder was in the right place at the right time in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on Monday. While in the lobby of the hotel where he was staying, he was with his fellow photographer Mack Millan when a young mother ran into the lobby from the pool area screaming and holding her limp and unresponsive daughter in her arms.
The girl had choked on food and was unconscious. Eric and Mack jumped into action grabbing the girl and helped dislodge the obstruction, essentially saving the girls life.
Eric said, “I’m no hero, I just happened to be in the right place at the right time."
Later that day he came across the family watching the sunset together and got the chance to speak with them thinking to himself how different things could have been just hours before.
Here is a short video from the harrowing scene posted on Facebook.
